I have been stuck on this for a while and would really appreciate some help, so that I can understand how I can solve this and update drupal core with composer. In my php.ini file, for the curl path I have added curl.cainfo ="/Applications/MAMP/conf/php7.4.12/cacert.cerĪnd to enable openssl I have added extension=php_openssl.so

When I try to open cacert.cer it tries to open in Keychain Access, but comes up with An error has occured. Where should cacert file get saved to and why does my download get saved as cacert.cer instead of cacert.pem ? I was not completely sure where to save this cacert.cer file to, but as it relates to php configuration I have put it in /Applications/MAMP/conf/php7.4 as that is where my php.ini file is.

I have been following the PHP Open SSL Requirments and downloaded , but this gave me a cacert.cer file. I then tried composer update drupal/core "drupal/core-*" -with-all-dependencies to update Drupal Core and this is where I am getting a Curl 60 SSL Certificate problem while loading from. I typed composer show drupal/core-recommended in my command line and discovered that I have a metapackage. It appears that MAMP only gives you the option of picking the latest two PHP versions that it ships with. Selecting which PHP version that is used is one of those. Its a great App but sometimes it feels like it is dumbing down some things a little bit too much.
#Mamp update openssl mac os#
I have Drupal on a Mac OS laptop, all setup with MAMP 6.3 free version (with PHP 7.4.12) on a localhost under htdocs folder.Ĭomposer installed Drupal 9.2.3 for me, but when I logged into Drupal under configuration it recommended a Drupal Core Update. Ive been using MAMP for quite some time for my personal web development work.

I have installed Drupal with composer using composer create-project drupal/recommended-project drupal.
